Tracfone | Pay as You Go Cell Phone Service mia Tracfones Being a teenager, I dislike Tracfones BUT I have to say that they are very unexpensive and help me to control how much I talk&text because the minute display is right on the screen. I would prefer a real cell phone plan, but my cheap parents say that it is out of the question. 3.6 July 29th, 2009

Tracfone | Pay as You Go Cell Phone Service tina tracfone user I live out in the middle of a dead zone and I have to say that the tracfone does get a signal..though its very weak some days.

Plus I bought one for my son and its great because if he abuses it I am not committed to a contract...I can take it away and lose almost nothing.

I love my tracfones!

Tracfone | Pay as You Go Cell Phone Service Barbara Peck Tracfone experience I bought a $19.00 LG tracfone with the 12 month 800 minutes (and double minutes for life) and requested that my Verizon Wireless phone number be "ported" to the LG. This was against everyone's advice saying it would surely not happen and I would be unhappy with Customer Service when I would have to call them.
There was a problem in that after my verizon cell number was ported into the LG, the number programmed into the phone (and affixed to the serial number) remained there also. SO the phone didn't work.
But I have to say in defense of TracFone's Customer Service, they resolved the problem within a day, albiet I was on the phone with them off and on for about 2 hrs. They were curteous, and helpfull, and I was never put on hold for longer than 2 minutes.
I really can't say a bad word about them.
I'm a Happy Tracfone user...

Tracfone | Pay as You Go Cell Phone Service Daymon Good for pay as you go I don't use pay as you go, or prepaid anymore since I have better credit now and can get a regular cell phone plan, but I have used Tracfone in the past. It's no frills, but it gets the job done. It's good for anyone who just doesn't use cell phone service that much, but still wants a cell phone for whatever reason.

You can get reload card just about anywhere.
